Hi Dev's, I doubt you will even see my message but in the unlikely event that you do I would like to share my thoughts & opinions on two of the jobs I've played a lot over the years.. Black Mage & Machinist.

Firstly I'll start with Mch, I'm not going to go into potencies etc, rather focus on job design. Overall I think Mch flows very well & I think the new skills are badass, however there are a few design choices that seem strange to me.

The first thing is why doesn't Autocrossbow also generate stacks of double check & check mate? People have been asking for this change for years, the single target rotation feels a lot more enjoyable with the stacks refresh feature & it would be so much better if it was the same for aoe.

I also think the 3rd hit of the single target combo should generate 10 heat not 5 seeing as one shot of the shotgun generates 10 heat. I think flamethrower as a skill is dated. Having to stand in one spot for 10 seconds rarely goes well & you're forced to cancel the skill early to avoid getting hit. I think it would be much better if you either condensed the damage into 5 seconds rather than 10 or made it a fire dot like bio blaster. I'd actually prefer it if flamethrower applied an aoe dot that could be stacked with bio blaster.

The last thing regarding Mch is that in the past the job had two drones, one for single target & one for aoe. It seems strange to me that the mech robot doesn't have any aoe components, couldn't you have an alternate robot summon that was used for aoe? I think it would be amazing if we could summon a different robot for aoe encounters.

Now onto Black mage, all I'll say regarding this job is that I think it needs a rework at this point. Every other job in the game apart from Black Mage has had alterations or in some cases substantial reworks. Pictomancer uses 8 different elements on top of all the other crazy stuff they can do & all Black mage can do is use thunder as a dot you reapply once per rotation, ice for mp & then you spam the same fire spell 6 times. I think it's really restrictive to have the job tied to 3 elements in such a rigid system. It could be so much more! At the very least you could have the fire spell change as you cast it before doing Paradox to refresh your time & have more upgraded spell animations as we've been using the same spells since the games launch.

Anyway if you read my message thanks & I hope you consider some of the things I mentioned
