Yeah, and we even got the Amaurot-lite backdrop in a warm colour scheme - "we know you guys liked Amaurot", and so on - but the foreground we interacted with was easy nostalgia fodder like amusement parks, I guess because making a bureaucratic metropolis a beloved setting of loss and nostalgia is a feat of times past. Immediately pretty childhood nostalgia is safer. And I did appreciate the too-sugary-sweet cloying theme of the art direction in general, for that uncanny "this is wrong" feeling they were going for. I did. But the metropolis wallpaper was quite blatant.
