    It's all just so frustrating.
It might not even be on these forums. It could be on an entirely other forum theyre using (and just telling us to give feedback here) with no information and understanding of how it came to this conclusion at all. I bet a dev who sucks at dps played with them, and complained about it being to busy, and that's the person they took "player feedback" from. And theyre casual JP player. Lol.

I personally assume the worst because of the 10 years of job adjustments. They have ruined aspects of jobs that some people consider to be fantastic. (Just look at the conversation around Kaiten. I STILL have it on my hotbar in the hopes one day its given back.)

People will always assume the worst about FFXIV job changes, because they are almost always for the worse. This is the only game I play where I legitimately hold my breath when reading job patch notes because rather than just nerf things, they cut entire mechanics and elements that make jobs fun.

They can prevent "manipulation" by looking at the feedback critically (in this case the biggest criticism to negative feedback about viper gameplay would be "it's too early, they havent played it long enough"), and also by putting it into perspective with in-game metrics, which have a way of telling what players don't say. Like how many have switched to being viper mains versus how many people complain about viper.

I still think the way jobs are released and picked up needs an overhaul but I'm afraid it sells job skips so it won't happen

But if all the higher level jobs are going to get catered to simpler and simpler design even if they release complicated, why even make me level to pick it up. Who are new jobs for? Veterans? New players?

Does Viper need to be accessible to people who just picked up FFXIV who.. have to level for ages before even getting a chance to try it?

Or does Viper need to be allowed to be complex because you have to level for ages before you can try it and catch up to current content to actually see the whole kit?

It feels like it's designed for no one and new players who are willing to buy a job skip lol
