Playable mamool'ja/Bangaa

I've grown really fond of these dudes since doing wanderers palace hard and learning of their strange bathing dance, the mamool'ja are really cool!
I've loved the bangaa ever since I first played final fantasy tactics A2, their weirdly shaped heads and unique features as well as just looking really cool all the time made them my favorite race in the series! The ivalice raids only added to this.
I don't really know what else to say but I just think it would be awesome despite limitations they may have with armor/glamour appearances

I've said this before, but it just doesn't seem likely. And were we to get either of them, I mean... look what they did to the Ronso/Hrothgar. Even the Viera, comparatively easier to adapt, lost all of their remotely nonhuman characteristics except for their ears and their nose markings (and that one's debatable since the character updates lol). Point being, whatever we get would be different than what you may have loved about them to begin with.

And let's say they did get to keep their bestial feet, etc.; you may be okay with them being unable to wear shoes or hats, or armor being unpleasantly distorted to fit the rest of their bodies, but the community, by and large, is still unhappy with Viera and Hrothgar's limitations. It wouldn't go over well.

Buns and Hroth don't even have hats. I can't imagine SE wanting to put the development time into the big lizards.

While I think it would be cool to see more races added I do think it would be better if SE were to expand the character creator and add more features to the current existing races.
For instance, I would really like it if any hrothgar could have the horn to fit the whole ronso vibe rather than that specific face.

If they did add more races it'd be interesting to see the mamool'ja and I'd want to see burmecians.
