Moogle Delivery functionality in Companion App

Hey there,

I thought it would be interesting since we have the ability to chat in the companion app that it might be nice to be able to interact with our friends in game via app or from the app to our in game friends. since we are already interacting with our storages, putting stuff up for sale in the market board and even sending retainers on additional ventures. Seems like sending mail would be pretty cool way to connect.

this may have a lot of things that need to be built with it mind you like being able to differentiate friends on the app from friends online. this could also use the black list and contacts for preventing harassing, it may require an ability to blacklist people from the app, mind you. You could include the functionality to send gil or gifts or limit it to just messages. If there could be some additional functionality added to the in-game character to have a way to send and receive messages, I imagine something akin to calling a moogle to save in FF9 using a whistle, it would probably make for more robust interactions between friends, free company members, even raid teams inside and outside of the game. If that is a bit of a stretch being able to select app delivery for mail would also be good.

If you want kupo nuts to be a resource used for sending mail it might require an increase in the number we can hold, and could include new ways of accruing them. This could include taking certain actions daily or using the app to visit the Lodestone or other sites. It could even include doing things that might be more controversial like enduring ads though that may detract from popularity. looking back on my in-game functionality if you made the Kupo nuts into a resource used and gained from in game and in app you could also use it to make story dungeons/trials more popular as a reward for running. It might also be fun to add it to the moogle tribe quests and could even expand on the moogle delivery quests from ARR to make it seem like the adventurers are helping with the deliveries.

I haven't used the app in a while because there wasn't much on there when I first installed it. Increased communication could be really useful. Maybe even things like being able to schedule stuff for FCs on a calendar.
