    Echoes of the SAM changes from 6.1 (and healers/tanks from long before).

    Yes, add player surveys. Give a small amount of compensation, say a handful of aetheryte tickets, something everyone can get a bit of use out of, or maybe a selection of some dyes. Run the surveys every 6 months, or maybe every quarter at most. SE would get much better actionable data than they could otherwise.

    That should be interesting, given that a minority of the playerbase does high-level content. Depending upon the source, it could be around 20 or 25% of the playerbase, so unless their votes are heavily weighted, I doubt it would make much of a difference.

    I expect that a survey would rather tend to ask each person what content they did, perhaps how often/ what was the last one, then branch to ask specific questions based upon their answers.

    Sure, but the fact is players who do high-level content are far more likely to understand the nuances of a job they do it on than those who don't, making their feedback far more likely to be valuable.
