Eh, I'm never going to feel bad about the removal of positionals since they don't add anything to my gameplay experience by trying to do them, so I end up ignoring most of them anyway. I'll stay on rear as Ninja, and flank for everything else, but that's it, I'm not here to dance around so I can do a tiny bit of extra damage I won't even notice.
General rotation is a different story though, was it not the point of Viper to have fast-paced strikes and such with the constant glowing buttons?
People need to learn the job before complaining about it, hugh, if you can't process how to play Viper after playing it enough, it's a you issue, not the job, damn, please don't change it square, especially when it come to "busyness".

Not even one reply could be posted before a healer made it about themselves.
It was more a cheeky comment about the design philosophy in general for everyone playing , more so than healers specifically. I.e: if theres even a small amount of friction between a player and the ability to pilot a particular job, it will more than likely be made "more accessible". Like with what we have here. A summoner would've been just as valid making a similar sarcastic comment
Anyway, i do think its a bit ridiculous to push forward changes when its only been a week, for one. For two, i dont see how "busyness and positionals" are a issue? This has been monks identity for years, even in spite of the accessibility changes over the years. And while theyre not the most popular, people still love and play them lol

DO NOT CHANGE VIPER PLEASE
After playing FF16, I'm convinced sucking all gameplay depth out is the goal.

I like the busyness of the class but they really need to let you split job actions, or at least decide what skills you want to turn into each other. As it is, it kind of forces you into a particular hotbar layout to not be quite awkward. Alas, for me this ended up being quite awkward as my awakening combo ended up being 2, 3, shift 1, shift 2, 9, which doesn't flow well at all.
I redid my hotbars so it can flow better, but now it's not set up similarly to my other classes in terms of where AoE and such is. I don't think that needing your hotbars in a specific configuration to make sense is great.
I do enjoy the class though, the aesthetic and busyness is great, it's just the automatic skill change that I am not a fan of.
