Feedback on current planned Viper adjustments

I've never posted on the forms until now, but felt like this needed every voice possible since apparently there are people that are saying the the new job is too difficult. For context I used to main Summoner back in Storm Blood. I loved it because the job was considered "hard to play", it was busy and there was a lot you needed to manage. I don't find the new summoner fun to play at all. (Don't worry, I'm getting to viper.)

Viper just came out and personally I think it feels great. You've got combos that are easy to follow through with the way actions light up now. And with the naming convention of it's moves it's really east to keep track of what moves are positionals and where you need to be positioned for them.

I think it's WAY too early to be considering simplifying it. It's one of the few classed that I feel engaged with while I play. Now you can also say that I haven't spent enough time with it since I don't have it at level 100 yet. But can't the same be said about a lot of people that are apparently saying that it's too hard?

I personally LOVE the "busyness" of the job. How it plays I feel matches REALLY well with it's aesthetic also. It's suppose to be that fast dual wielder, and it feels amazing for it. SE please reconsider making this change. I'm currently playing through Dawn Trail with Pictomancer since my first love is casters, but from the bit I have played of Viper. Viper might have the chance to change that.

Also, wasn't it said during a Fan Fest or Live letter that maybe SE went too far with over simplification with things? I might be misremembering, but I honestly believe that was said.

Here to make my very first post on these forums as well to agree with you and voice that I would not like to see any of it made less "busy" it's the "busyness" that makes it so engaging to me, it's so much fun right now and I feel it's way too early to be making any drastic changes to it before people have even had the chance to settle in with it and feel the flow of things.

I'm also here to make my first post on the forums. Even with my limited experience with the job so far, it is already one of my favorite jobs to exist. The aethstetic of being fast and reactive feels great, especially when paired with the time-limited oGCDs. I love feeling like a living blender.

Even in the level 93 trial, it feels great to have to be making decisions about my rotation based on what actions I will have to perform soon. One example is avoiding using Dreadwinder if I have to use Feint soon. Another example is using Pit of Dread to apply "Noxious Gnash" on FATE mobs when I'm in the middle of my 1-2-3 combo.

If I had to rank what aspects of the job I would want to keep based on my 15 levels of playing VPR so far, it would be as follows:

    1. Density of actions ("busyness") during Dreadwinder and Pit of Dread
    2. Density of actions during "Reawaken" and "Uncoiled Fury"
    3. Density of resources (debuff, two buffs, coil stacks, "juice")
    4. Positionals on the "Hunter's Coil" and "Swiftskin's Coil" actions
    5. Density of actions during the 1-2-3 combo
    6. Positionals in general
