The job is already accessible by virtue of providing visual cues to tell you which combo routes to follow to maintain buffs while maximizing damage.

Its current incarnation is still less heavy on positionals/OGCDs then several pre-rework jobs like MNK/NIN and it should stay that way. Not all jobs need to be for everyone.

To be honest I main dark but decided to try viper after I finished MSQ and got my gear as far as I wanted on my main. It took awhile to get used to the fairly unusual combo system but once it clicks it clicks. Viper as a class is actually VERY button light, you just have to get a rhythm for how the combo's work, what to do after you get your combos, and how to mix in your charge attacks. It really is a lot less demanding than many other melee classes in the game, you just have to get your head around those combos and two whole positionals lol
