No mention of healers, aside from specifics about ast's rework in particular (so not healers as a whole). Expected, but still sad to see.

Not surprised he didn't acknowledge anything else for healers, but more draws and uses of lightspeed is still a pretty welcome change
I'm holding off on assuming any major changes might happen until after the Savage tier starts. SE usually doesn't poke at changes until those get rolling.
I think we've proven the devs are perfectly capable of major changes ASAP as long as the changes mean more homogenization and simplification.
If the draws is 40s (or 30s but i doubt this) I'm going to be at least content with it. May even pick it up again, I liked the more consistent damage buffing of the job even if it's only one card outside of burst i guess its something.
I mean the current cards are kinda just odd, I personally think the whole system would actually make a lot of sense if astro didn't already have strong signle target healing or mit/shield tools, I think something to spread a Non-damage buff card effect, once every 120s would have been a whole lot more interesting then just the 10% mitigation we have.
Other then maybe astro I don't know if ill be playing healer much outside of levelling them on my main.
You just answered why the re-work they implemented really didn't make much sense, and while the changes to draw and Lightspeed are good, it would definitely not make me content by any means, not in comparison to pre-EW AST.If the draws is 40s (or 30s but i doubt this) I'm going to be at least content with it. It would make me content for healer standards, believe me I would be much happier with something akin to shadowbringers astro myself.
I'm just content with it because I've lost any hope that we will get back the astro I enjoyed the most which is not a good thing mind you. The current card system has too many redundancy which is the core of the issue, I think adding someways to manpulate those cards would at least be more enjoyable then current ast.
Although my "Ideal" would be to add back RNG damage buff cards and Support cards, the difference being that they wouldn't share the same slots, I'd personally split the system through minor arcana (something that's also not really needed). where one can be where you have your support cards and one can be for damage buffs.
yeah the rework is bad, I agree with you there I'm just hopeful that if they make cards 40s I'll actually have slightly more reason to play it again because i liked the frequent single target buffing of previous versions. Then again getting more single target "defence/healing buffs" per minute isn't really exciting to me.
Copium. Copium everywhere. Look, Ast is dead. Period. The only thing they're going to do is reduce the recharge of Astral/Umbral draw to 55 seconds to prevent drifting from the god of the two minute meta. It's clear the game is actively being homogenized down to that point. I wish I hadn't bought DT, because I'm done playing. Call me when the game is actually fun again. Later.
