Please for the love of God don't dumb down this job to the ground. You don't need to make it easier, most people will do fins by just pressing the glowy button.

Or alternatively if positional are too confusing add a positional indicator to the job combo gage, or just rework it entirely because it's useless and more confusing than anything else.
Other change would be having the ability to rotate it so you can adjust the blade in fonction of your hotbar.
Also having an option to remove the blade part and just keeping the jewel slot for uncoiled fury.
I personally find the last attack buff to give more information in a clearer way.

the only complain I have gameplay wise is that uncoiled furry gcd should be 3sec instead of 3.5, it just feel way too slow.

Please don't gut the little amount of complexity the job have, I love it because of it. You did a good job square please keep it that way.

I think the job skill guide could benefit from showing the branching combos, it's a bit of a pain to track the skills when you first unlock the job and want to read what goes to what etc.
The busyness of the job is nice, I dunno why the rush to remove positionals from it when it's not been long at all. I really hope they don't remove the double weaving as well.

I feel the same way and I am hoping that they don't end up changing Viper too much as it feels really fun currently at max level and I love how busy and fast it is. Even though I prefer how it is right now, if it's the dreadwinder positionals they want to change, maybe they could do what they did to dragoon, just have the first hit need a positional and the second one doesn't need to be a positional. It's not too bad for me if they change positionals, but I am mostly hoping they don't reduce the amount of oGCDs because the amount of double weaves feel great currently.

Gonna put in my two cents. People who are having trouble should just do the level 80 job quest and then after that experiment on a training dummy.

I did the exact same thing, it doesn't matter if it takes a while to learn the job because that is part of the fun.

Just relax and put your job actions on your cross bar or keybinds that feel comfortable to you.

Also the positional part is super easy, just remember if you get the Hunter's Instinct buff go flank and if you get Swift go rear.

Easy way to remember I heard is to give them a swift kick in the butt and the other positional would be the opposite.

Also they simply need better tooltips. I read through every tooltip (or thought I did,) and still completely missed that 2 of the skills had positional requirements because it's hiding in a wall of text. Likewise I forgot to put 1 skill on my bar and would love if the devs had the option to highlight skills in the skill tree that weren't present on any current hotbar. Obviously both issues were fixed but, with tooltips that large, you will run into issues.

And I hate to break it to everyone here, but when you make it so even dungeons have mechanics that used to only be seen in extreme trials or harder content, classes being so easy to play they practically turn into 1-button rotations is kind of the end result.

Yes! Please leave viper as it is.
As of right now it's the only job where I don't fall asleep while waiting for GCD.

If they get rid of a job that's finally not residentsleeper I might have to quit the game cause I genuinely don't enjoy any other job anymore...

I'm a physically disabled player. I have muscular dystrophy, so I can ONLY play using a controller. If Viper isn't too hard for someone like me to play, then where are the complaints coming from?

Positionals aren't hard to execute. If you're melee DPS you park yourself on the back corner of your target where flank and rear meet, and move one step over when appropriate. AND we have two charges of True North (which I use out of laziness rather than necessity).

I don't get this at all.

Red = rear, green = flank. Unless you have red/green color blindness, there's 0 reason to pay attention to anything except the final attack's color
