I think my game is broken? Can't play after patch 1.23

I really don't know how to explain this but yeah...

I finished patch 1.23 and it updated. I had to alter the game.ver file's date as usual after every update since the last major patch for some obtuse reason.

But anyway, I sign on and first thing I try to do is /pray.

It doesn't work.

It's not even listed in my emotes....

Ok?

I figure, maybe a day 1 bug. Fair enough.

I first go to the Maelstrom command to get my "Hand With Care III" Achievement reward, the Chocobo Hat.

Seems legit, right?

I get it and the Maelstrom Officer says, here's your reward for completing "X Achievement".

Huh?

So I figure, ok, fair enough. Another day 1 bug. It's cool.

I equip my mask and now I am happy. But then, after a few moments after wearing it with joy. I try to talk to Guincum for the new Grand Company Quest to fight Nael Van Darnus with my Linkshell eagerly getting ready.

Game crashed. Looks like this.



I've seen this screen every time I talk to him, at least 30 times now. Definitely not a day 1 bug, nor a good sign at all.

Next I check my emote list and my Achievement list. Guess what?

/pray isn't even listed in there.

and none of the new Achievements are showing. They aren't even present. Except for one.

Take a look at which one is actually showing, yet in a very odd way.



So tell me...

How does an item that I just received 20 crashes ago end up in my inventory when it says it's a reward for 10,000 company cargo transports when on the lodestone it says only 1,000?

A) I obtained the mask regardless and B) the game and Achievement list doesn't even acknowledge it.

I can't see, play, or interact with ANY of the new 1.23 content, nor does my game acknowledge any of it. I'm stuck. And I have no idea how to fix it. There's absolutely nothing on the forums posted recently of anyone having the same issues, nor in the past.

I hope this isn't much to ask, but any ideas or help would be appreciated. Thank you.
