There's an incredibly clear difference between how she writes and how others write.

Yes, you are correct in that it's a team effort but when one of the main selling points of your game is its story you have to have others who can decently fill the void their top writers leave when they aren't involved (for whatever reason).

Ishikawa understands how to write nuance, understands the various characters and how they would interact with others or react to a given scenario, she understands how to properly pace dialogue and conversations, and she is able to set up compelling scenarios with a great pay off.

I'm not saying it's easy to find someone like her but they have to either train their writers better or find writers more akin to Ishikawa.
