I feel like you're just sparing yourself the effort because the quests are a pain in the ass.
It's a game, and it puts obstacles in your way.
Don't you understand that?

It's easy for you to argue that it should be easy.
But this story is also a phase that gives you difficulties.
The quest is for you to relive the difficulties she had to go through.
After you have had an easy time of it, the story will be a little less interesting than it was intended to be.

If you are paralysed by a stroke or some other disability that prevents you from playing the game, the requirements should be different.
"I'm having a hard time playing it properly, so just give me a mode where I can just enjoy the story."
That should be fine.

I understand that each player's situation is different, but why not put some thought and effort into making the journey better for each of you?
