you'd think yoshi-p went to "Fromsoft for Elden ring" mode the You died for the 50th time 100th time, you suck.... die more...
this Main story quest fight is becoming a blocker....

yes , i do need a new laptop , that's a given .... as the new game is stunning but unplayable if i don't dial down to nil...
the animation sputters etc ok for dungeons with ppl ...
but 5 seconds of free hits on me

new shinny graphics card , laptop new 3500 bill just to win this for s*it fight ... 128 gigs of ram gen 5 nvme looking expensive.... job market went from 90k salary to temp agency.... work is a joke , and a struggle my ps5 is taken over 99% the time so it's old laptop or bust ... unfortunately car engine /new laptop laptop
90k year to minimum +/- wages ... game keeps my frustrations in check mostly...
laptop is least dawntrail's minimum specs ++ 32 gigs of ram but 4-5 years old...

very easy hard it doesn't matter you cant get enough hp's back fast enough to pass..
worse i don't tank enough for this fight to seam intuitive i get 2-3 limits off last 3rd limit died as it prepared to fire...

hp get to nill even doing everything 95% correct ...
i have a 45:0 on this fight ... so winning on it not......

SquareEnix literally FORCES me to buy my way through these stupid story fights by having to go to their online store and purchase the "Tales Of Adventure..." books in order to bypass these STUPID, STUPID forced NPC fight seqences.

IMO;
They are NOT fun.
I do NOT enjoy them.
I should be able to SKIP them without having to open my wallet.

Look, the game makes it stupid easy to play another kit, style or class... so I just don't understand why the developers put their players in a chokehold and shove a particular kit down everyone's throat simply to "eNhAnCe thE StoRy" ...ugh!

There are literally hundreds of optional dungeons, trials and quests in the game that a player can unlock and play IF THEY DECIDE TO... so why, exactly force these stupid fights on your players?

Lack of choices in a MMO is never the right choice.

I guess on the bright side there's plenty of other things I can do until SquareEnix rubs their greedy hands together and lets me buy my way out of their stupid enforced story-combat... otherwise I'll just be lvl 100 stuck at lvl 94 MSQ content, and honestly, I don't even care anymore [stupid cat!]

...just sucks I can't skip it like everything else in this game... its such a arbitrary and stupid choice on their part.

Same here - I'm stuck on the fight and "Very Easy" ends for me with me never having full health other than when the fight first starts. I definitely agree that there needs to be an option to either skip a "play as" msq fight or to watch as just an observer/story-mode, especially if a fight like this one can't be passed after multiple attempts.

I agree with you 100% on this. I understand giving us a challenge however, those of us who may disabled or just more of a casual player - this "very easy" mode doesn't seem to actually be "very easy". I'd be willing to even give up any XP that's gained from this if they converted it to just skip it, do story/observer mode etc. Personally, I have put my attempts on hold as I don't play to get upset, frustrated or to feel humiliated over and over again (aka bashing my head into a wall). I wish there were other options as you said or even permitting 2 folks to do this jointly. Right now, as it is.. I personally can't get past this.

Not everyone is a super gamer, some of us are more casual players, here for the story and fun - this has sucked any bit of fun I've had thus far. The heals are weak, the limit break doesn't pop nearly enough and when they do heal by the time it hits, he's already chunked my health to next to nothing.

I agree. Honestly I just wish Square Enix would make a mode that plays itself mostly as I'm generally too busy eating Doritos and browsing photos of Johhny Depp quite alot of the time when I'm forced to do unfair mechanics.

One thing I've suggested is them working in conjunction with Neuralink so that I can play the game subconsciously with my brain while I'm focusing on other tasks or have really intuitive voice commands so I can say stuff like "dodge this mechanic." And the game will just do it for me instead of me having to put my fingers on my keyboard to manually dodge. Like what year is it, 1930? I think these should just be common features.
