Final fight too hard?

I thought it was challenging without being ridiculous. It took us a few hours worth to beat him. Most of our failures were due to lack of knowledge on the fight. Once we figured everything out, we got it done no problem.

My issue is destroying the meteors. You can't cast or do anything to them until they're about to hit due to the restriction on targeting enemies "too far" above or below you.

Anyway, that's pretty much what ya gotta do. There's no real "restriction" as people clearly are clearing this after they get a strategy down.

If you want to be safe, just have one BLM on top at all time to do meteor, any good BLM can solo it easy until the astral flow phase where Darnus teleports to top panel, that is where other BLMs needs to help.

im exausted now, mentally out of it

and dont blame my strategy. i read the eorzapedia article and everything, we all tried to form a strategy, and still died, even followed what other people said, did everything you all said in the thread

maybe it was a bad group combination i dont even know anymore

i just want to get this over with... theres a difference between challenging and frustrating

Oh come on.. This fights not hard at all. The only part that's hard to figure out is the Megaflare.
Yet to get past that ;|
The rest of it becomes pretty apparent in moments.

Ive done it 3 times only so far
First try, ran out of time because we didn't understand the drain
Second time, we died on Megaflare because we didn't know what to expect.
Third time, we lagged out before Megaflare or something, half the party dropped, he drained 4k hp, and started Megaflare.

When a game gets too hard for me... I turn it off... sell/trade it... and play another game that I enjoy...

I'm a happy gamer...


The way some of the users go on in this game I wonder if they lose sleep over such things???
