Op: How many Final Fantasy games has your friends played to the end that they complain that an end boss battle is not easy?
The battle is not your common battle, it is the end boss battle. If you can't beat it, look for better equip, think about the strats and what skills could be good. And then, try it again until you win.

What you guys even feeding op? Half the time people complain its too easy, too dumb, or something that makes no sense. For once people are complaining its too hard and everyone wants the fight to be cakewalk? Losing faith in the FF playerbase here...if the fight was too easy op would have made a thread saying its too easy im gonna leave to go play WoW for a challenge.

oh and you got op complaining about this fight on other peoples thread, about the infamous animation lock.... I guess he doesn't know how to fight ifrit either and he is too hard.

Right, the idea isn't to just walk in and beat this thing within the first few tries.

Well, not unless you're a dedicated hardcore endgame LS.

You're supposed to work at it. Not get discouraged, analyze what's going on and move forward. This isn't an FPS, game over does not mean you are a flat out loser and should ragequit life.

It means 'try again'.

I doubt it. The Darnus fight disappear with 2.0. Why change it for the last 3 month?
