constant disconnects

Try MudFish VPN. It's a pre-paid VPN that you can enable for a single app. I bought $5 over a year ago and I haven't run out yet. It's particularly good at handling weird disconnects with FFXIV. I don't use it all the time, but whenever something feels icky I turn it on and it has worked really well for me. It was the only thing that let me play for like a month when my connection to XIV otherwise was impossible in 2023.. or 2022? That's my recommendation.
