    Accessibility issue

First time posting here but I believe it needs to be addressed. Accessibility in DT has been worse than ever for those with epilepsy or just light sensitivity. Going through the level 97 dungeon has been awful and I can't even do the level 100 trial due to health issues. Flashing lights don't make the game more difficult, it just makes it non-accessible for a lot of people and it is - overall - just bad for your eyes.

The 99/100 zone is so bad I had to get reshade and crank up atmospheric fog and volumetric fog. Which makes it really blurry but less bright -- not an ideal fix for those with visual impairments. I feel very bad for those with sensitive eyes and other disabilities related.

They deliberately removed the option to turn off bloom, so now every light source has it no matter what and you have to fiddle with Reshade/GPU software to minimize it. Someone in the eye strain thread posted a World of Darkness post-patch screenshot that highlights how bad it is.

Completely agree with light sensitivity related issues.
In my case i have permanent blindspots in my left eye which doesn't help with badly implemented light effects or oversaturated / high contrast situations in games.

From ARR to Endwalker it was manageable, the only thing i had to live with was not raiding as a paladin or white mage aka white light flashy jobs, and i would just turn off the majority of effects.

But then in Dawntrail besides the colors being more saturated (which i can clamp them in my computer settings so they don't go on a wide gamut effect), the whites are stronger which makes the flash effects even worse.
Also, theres a more noticeable/agressive contrast between shadow and light, with this i mean if i try to do "gamma correction" within ingame settings it doesnt work as before.

But the cherry on top is the removal of "Glare: Off" in graphic settings, which was present since ARR launch afaik.

Its frustrating that instead of the devs giving more options in accessibility for light sensitivity like they gave colorblind modes, now they're actually removing options and making others even worse.

    My venting is done.

It's miserable and we deserve better. I can't even play like this.

it/its - 14 accessibility is bad, ease of access is not accessibility, jobs are boring. Transphobia ruins real attempts at criticism and it's whack.

As far as this topic is concerned I am legitimately still waiting for them to add the color blind option that is native to the pc client in the options menu to the console version still.

Been asking since Shadowbringers. Kinda sad that most players I seem to have talked to just assume console players have this option.

I have showed them screen showed and even share screened my gameplay to show them the option just doesn't exist for us at all. Its frustrating.

I die so often to mechanics I cannot physically see which has kept me from even wanting to attempt higher end content for the better part of 8 years. I only tried for endwalker because I had a extremely understanding group that helped adjust for my problems seeing the mechanics.

This is a problem that square could and HAS already fixed with the pc client.

I also can't play like this, in my case because of both the forced bloom and the forced upscaling blur.

That explains why my Allagan node mount looks like a giant glowing watermelon that is actively trying to sear my retinas.

For some weird reason WHM is actually one of the less visually offensive jobs after the update. DNC, however, is a bit painful in how intense the visual effects are. For the first time ever I'm considering setting my own character's battle effects to limited, because the huge super bright flashes kind of hurt my eyes and they even obscure mechanics sometimes. I'll be sad if I have to give up my battle effects though, after having played with them on for years...

I've just run through World of Darkness for the first time since Dawntrail and it's truly blinding. Going to Raktika is terrible. I can't gather there anymore without bracing myself first. Please let us turn off the Glare / Bloom effect again.
