The amount of NM might vary depending on how many on your team. For reference with full party:
Locke's: Dodore and gang, Mosshorn and gang, Ogre, Trio of Cactuar, Princess of Pestilence and Boar NM -> Pop Treant in the middle.
Turtle's: Great Buffalo -> Uraeus -> Chimera -> Coincounter -> Stone Golem (never got the scene where Coincounter appear during Chimera fight like Chardrizard, I guess NM spawn by either timer or the previous one killed trigger).

PUG? My first 3 fights were done with JP PUG, and all wins with 10+ mins left. It's very easy, the Chimera is nerfed I think compared to CC's Chimera, seems to die a lot faster.

Or maybe baby Chimera, and CC's is the mother. She's very pissed because someone stole her baby, so she chomped on Lalafell from Ul'dah.

I only did 1, locke's island or w/e, after i killed tree with my whm...lol... me & the warrior was left alive.

I didnt see the coffer pop myself, but the war obviously did & opened it & got the Sword in his loot list.
(that kinda made me happy since if he already had it he could pass it to someone else.)
But since they now can be melded, i doubt anyone will pass any loot
unless they have one in inventory & bazaar already.

Other than that, a pickup group for this will not benefit at all, mostly because
anyone who gets loot can just leave & take what he/she want/needs.

That's more or less what happen to our group, it disbanded 5minutes after...
so that was fun for as long as it lasted lol

A party loot pool would have been more fair, where the party members can lot for the rewarded loot.

Then again...thats just my opinion.

And the weapons, well....meh really...there will be better sooner or later.

Like all coffers the loot does not go to the person who opens the chest it's utterly random. Please don't jump to conclusions.

It seems like it's both. We had some... Issues today during a run with the chimera next thing we knew the coin counter wanabe was just sort of there. he dropped a two handed 100 tonzs on us before we realized what the hell was going on.

If this occurs have some one grab him and kite him, He is a real easy kite just take a lap around the island while the rest of your team beats the stuffings out of chim.

But yes these skirmishes are all about a "safe" and easy way to learn some of the varied mechanics that dungeon bosses and other nm's have. I Personally plan on using the event to "Cut my teeth" on end game tanking.
