Do we Miqo'tes (espc. of the Moon) have "cataract" now?

I have one questions, is it only me, or are the eyes changed so, that it seems, we have "cataract"?

I mean, to me they look greyer than before > I am a Moon Miqo'te

I am thinking about changing to Sun Seeker, because in character creation the color looks better there, but 11 years ago I created my moon character BECAUSE I prefer their eyes, but now?

I wonder, if you think, they might change this again?

Or is it really "in my eyes" only and no real issue / working as intended, that they look so ... "different" now?

but then, I admit I am not fixated on looking closely at my characters face

I have noticed ever since the first DT Benchmark, my character's eyes colors have looked somewhat washed out...

I don't recognize my character anymore. She's not the same miqo, and 100 fantasias won't fix it. They are pushing me away from the game. I'm also a housing designer and almost all of my builds have been destroyed by the graphics update.

It's an issue due to the new catchlight combined with the large pupils and less cartoony eyes. Old eye design was much sharper and higher contrast.

I'm not sure. It does seem that in some cases, the eyes look foggy, as though the Y'shtola filter is being applied. I play Sun Seeker, and only seen this a few times, usually when the head is looking up and to the left/right.

It's not just you. My eyes are grey and washed out as well, and the shadow cast by the upper eyelid is also too strong. It's very noticeable when your pupils are lighter than your eyelashes. The catch-lights are also being dimmed by both problems. Eyes are just so dull now. Face lighting seems very rough in general. This problem existed before because pupil darkness is also tied to the darkness of the eyecolour on Miqo'te for some reason. It's just worse now. The grey haze and heavy lid shadow are new though and exacerbating the problem while also making the eye whites grey.
