Game wont launch after login

I remember having this issue in beta. a complete uninstall=>reinstall fixed it.

If it's the same issue: I remember seeing a thread on the beta forums on how to fix it exactly, it had something to do with the game thinking it was the wrong version. you could fix it by manipulating some files in the FFXIV mydocuments folder. but I honestly can't remember what it was.

Usual causes for ffxiv crashing ordered by chance:
1. bad luck (bad code/broken server took your client down)
2. overheated GPU (should always be less than 100°C)
3. broken configuration (delete the Final Fantasy XIV folder in your "documents/my games/" and run ffxivconfig)
4. broken installation (reinstall)
5. broken HDD (try a checkdisk)
6. bad GPU driver (try a different version)

you can try step 3 here. i don't think it's the problem but it's worth a shot.
