So you mess up a mechanic and die. Then you watch your tank solo boss down from 80% life, and you get to watch the battle happen without you.
My experience with this Expansion Pack.

Well, 1 tb every minute + no one can rez but healer + 2 dps means that if you don't want (as a designer) people to leave a dungeon because 1 player sucks (Aka, healer) then that's the result.
Dungeons need to be clearable by
tank who can't tank (don't know what mitigation is)
dps who can't dps (how many time was i as high as a dps as an ast...)
healer who can't heal / die all the time.
because you often end up with one of those.
Because there's no consequences for having 1-2 terrible apples in your group, you can still clear and people don't get salty and toxic. (just look at WoW)
In essence it's great, but it makes for a rather uninteresting experienc because provided only 2 good players are alive (or 1 if it's a tank) you can clear.
hence me being a very strong advocate of making "Pheonix Down" a consumable to rez players *in dungeons* without a rez penalty.
This would allow for harder hitting dungeon because "the healer being dead" wouldn't result in a wipe (with harder dungeon) or for that matter any trial...
I'm a healer, but if I had to reset a boss everytime the healer died... I'd just never run as a dps, *ever*, because it just happens actually quite often. Which is fine, as you said, you messed up a mechanic, why you as a healer messing up a mechanic should punish everyone else? When a dps dies, no one panics. (because there's no dps check)

I already was thinking of how to make tank life harder by adding 3 different types tank busters that tanks have to use correct tank buster mitigation to mitigate it.Well, 1 tb every minute + no one can rez but healer + 2 dps means that if you don't want (as a designer) people to leave a dungeon because 1 player sucks (Aka, healer) then that's the result.

Tank life is the easiest of all rules and to me of healer have 20% extra interesting kit I will play them over tanks
Dps is fine let them do what they can do at least there is a simple damage check that people can press a normal rotation can go through
I find tanks who do this to be obnoxious. I laugh at the ones who spend all that time trying to solo the boss only to die anyway.
All poo poo times are pee pee times, but not all pee pee times are poo poo times.
I dont play healer so i don't know
But get gud is good way to put it
i have been that tank so far, it's been great as WAR even if i can generally only concentrate on one person (maybe two, if they have some sustain options as well)
like, legit fun having to ration out my once/25s partner heal and 90s shield+regen with things like reprisal to squeak people through raidwide damage and such.
most fun i've had playing a healer since stormblood.
Picked up healer (SCH) back in heavensward, fell in love, mained it.
Don't play healer.
It's built by people who don't play it for people who don't want to play it, in a game designed not to need it at all.
There's nothing there for you, and the devs will remove whatever you might like to fit in more redundant healing and nothing to do when healing isn't required (party not standing in orange puddles, fights being scripted that a single OGCD will do the job), so you'll just press glare/broil/dosis for all of every fight, from level 1-100, forever.
That's what the NTR stands for in Dawntrail.
