Just a quality of life suggestion, they're practically the exact same spell.
And Holy in White button should change to Comet in Black since we cannot choose to cast White while we hold Black charge anyway, or let us save Black charges.

Like at the very least use the skill consolidation option more. I like having Fire/Blizzard being separate buttons, but Holy/Comet I’d prefer to have on one button. You’ve built this new system, get some milage out of it.
God I miss ShB SMN like a widow.
#FFXIVHEALERSTRIKE Healers deserve better
- Give more dps buttons to healers
- Remove or significantly Nerf most healing skills from tanks and dps
- Make the party take damage more often
i agree, it doesnt make sense to have them on different button when you use fire in red under subtractive palette
Completely agree, very little reason not to outside of, what, mandatory minimum button counts?
~sigh~
+1, agreed, and also the motifs and muses
literally the only complaint I have for picto
"You have committed the cardinal sin of boring me..."
It doesn’t bother me for our filler spells, but holy/comet is annoying to me for some reason. Comet is literally just a more powerful version of holy.
Our more powerful combo has longer cast times.
I actually have wish they would allow us to continue to use our red/green/blue combo even while the other combo is active. They obviously deal lower damage, but have lower cast times, which can be useful for slide casting during heavy movement phases.
Yeah. The filler spells definitely just need to be consolidated. It's just bloat for the sake of bloat in an expansion where we're supposedly trying to trim it down, you can't even use the RGB combo while subtractive palette is up. Same with holy/comet.
You can achieve this with a macro, i do for sure, but square hates combat macros for whatever reason so it'll always be a little janky and cost you some dps.
Like the roatation has enough going on to where you don't need to artificially bloat the button count by having 6 different buttons that could really just be 3.
