TIPS for levelling quickly (35+)

SO I'VE come in a little late, but i'd like to experience the main chunk of storyline and content before it is too late. Is there anything in specific that you can tell me other than to go and join an LS?

Also the main scenario isn't worth experiencing because it's boring and the only worthwhile part is the cutscene right before the end that you can just YouTube.

I did all the way up to "Don't Kill the Messenger" for GC quests (meaning I have 2 left before the new quest) but it hasn't been entirely gripping so far...mostly just running around the world to watch people talk at you or to go kill a couple things and watch a cutscene. Nothing epic just yet.

EDIT: Oh and power level. Though I don't think you can PLevel all that quickly 35-40.

Grand Company. It's like the 13th quest or something and you'll feel like killing yourself before you even join a Grand Company. You'll also probably run out of anima sometime during the completion trial.

I honestly understand that PL is a fast and awesome way to level but doing shit solo make you a better party player cause you make better decisions.

No it doesn't, and don't start an off-topic argument in this thread. Please. Don't derail this with PLevel good vs. bad.

It's GC but GC is basically the new main story.

EDIT: Don't listen to Suzaka... He's just one of those people who hates the game but still plays it even though they complain about everything. Just a guess

? I like this game fine. It's just ridiculous how far they make you run for a few lines of text.
