LINUX: what are known distributions/package levels for running FFXIV 7.0/Dawntrail ?

what are known good distributions/package level configurations for running FFXIV 7.0/Dawntrail ?

since my current system doesn't have TPM2.0 support, i`m going to kick Windows down the drain. Too much hassle to buy new hardware with a 5GHz 32gb system.

So, could the Linux/Unix crowd here please give me some input on what to install ?
Linux Distribution and Release:
X11 or Wayland (with Version if possible):
Lutrix/Photon/Glorious Eggroll/whatever (with version, default or compile from git?):

if anyone got it running on OpenBSD, that would also be cool.

PS: please don't bother to mention windows. it's not going to happen.
