What's even more appalling is that there was not one Hanu that knew this information either. A festival that you hold every year and you don't know? The writing was terrible on so many levels.

It's interesting when you take a step back and think about reality. It's sad to say, but you could probably quite easily find entire towns of Americans that don't know important aspects of American history, and even moreso the specific history of their particular town. The whole "we go through the motions because it's tradition, but we've long since forgotten where it came from" is disappointingly common in the world.

If you want to understand, there's dozens of threads and hundreds of posts that can inform you of what people don't like about the character. A lot of it can get heated because there's a lot of venting from frustration and disappointment, but there's more than enough well-written and thought out posts that are worth reading through.

Even if you disagree, you can still understand.

I'm still thinkin about how that one guy knew that the Hanu's crops were failing because the float was broken and the parade wasn't being done correctly, and instead of telling them directly so they don't starve to death he just sat on that information just so that revelation could potentially be apart of this vanity competition for the tuliyollan royalty.

That guy literally hid leaves in the dirt so he could give us a short history lesson.
He was the only reason Wuk won the tacos contest btw.

just like in EW (though i enjoyed EW story over all) the person in charge of putting it together should be fired. The story could of been so much better but they honestly just got lazy as hell with it. Even after all the promises they made leading up to DT release. "We wont to go back to quality and focus on making things better and return to quality over quantity" that went out the window pretty fn quick

Anyway there was no contest you could tell by quest 15-20 it was ment just for wuk to get the throne nothing else the rest was just dressing on the side to make it look like there was more to it. The fact the first half wasn't all doom and gloom and some ahole hell bent on destroying the world like every single other story since ARR was was nice. But typical SE they ruined that too in the 2nd half right back to yet another a hole for the 20th times out to destroy the world. Wuk themselves was annoying in first part of the first half they did get better but eh. The lazy writing for the story ruined anything that could be redeemable.

Everyone has points they liek and dont like but the fact stands the game is at its all time lowest ratting since 2.0 release lol. SE is starting to become the next Bethesda pretty much
