Gil Counter UI is just broken.

I have had a broken gil counter since the start of Dawntrail pre-release, it has just been a broken black box UI element no matter what I do. I tried restarting my comp, restarted the game, updated my graphics drivers. rebuilt the game files from the game launcher. basically everything short of an uninstall and reinstall. Just wanted to know if this was happening to anyone else!

I actually had this same issue. I realized I still had the counter display set to Allagan Tomestones of Causality, so I went into the Currency menu, then Currency Settings, and just changed the display default element to something else and it resolved the issue.

Not sure if this might be helpful for you, but that's how I was able to fix it for myself.

Thank you! Was having the same issue myself. Didn't have the old tomestones on there and default was set to Gil, but removing everything but Gil and saving it fixed it. Thanks so much!
