    [Dawntrail] [92-93] Regarding the Yok Huy

    It is no secret that the Yok Huy are physically identical to the Trolls of Final Fantasy XI (TOAU). However, in Endwalker, another race took the moniker of Troll: the big fluffy guys!

    Among them is the S-rank hunt, "Burfurlur the Canny". It's clear this name is inspired by the trolls of FFXI, but the Yok Huy also use this naming scheme (e.g. their leader Gurfurlur)!

    Could there be a relationship between the trolls of Aerslant and the Yok Huy of Tural?

    Depends whether the troll is (detectably) an intelligent creature and Burfurlur is his true name, or if there's a Turali researcher working in Labyrinthos who went "hey, this guy looks kind of like a Yok Huy so let's name him after one".
