Game Freeze

Probably not related but just sharing my issue with the game constant freezing for x seconds or crashing with DX error. It was all caused by Discord and the hardware acceleration (Settings > Advanced) that wouldn't remain turned off. After I got it to stay off no more freezes.
l.e. seems not only Discord. Any browser which has hardware acceleration turned on will causes freezes on FFXIV and no other game. Turning it off again fixes the issue. Tried all manner of settings in nVidia control panel specifically for FF but nothing changes if hardware acceleration is turned on, on a background application. Turning off Intel APO for FFXIV does nothing (not sure if it actually does anything beneficial either) and I'm on the latest microcode revision for Intel's 13/14 series issue mitigation (though I never had any issues with the cpu even before).
