What do i need for Max status on DRG 350 STR 310 PIE?

I use the following:
Darklight Helm +15 STR
Darklight Corselet +20 STR
Scarlet Sash +3 PTY
Militia Subligar +20 PTY
Darklight Caligae +15 PTY
Fingerless Raptorskin Gloves of Slaying 3x meld +43 STR
Explorer's Earrings
Electrum Gorget +1
Tourmaline Bracelets +1 +4 PTY
Tourmaline Ring +1 +18 PTY
Rubellite Ring +1 +18 STR

This gives me 351 STR, 305 PTY (312 after Jerked Beef)

This is just one way to hit cap, no matter how you do it you are going to need rare gear or a few 3x meld crafted.

storm lieutenant spear
3x pie tortoiseshell scale mail +50 pie
3x str felt bracers +50 str
rubelite ring +1
storm sergeant hose
acc ring +1
explorers choker
storm sergeant's bracelet
storm sergeant's earring
darklight helm
veterans field belt

cant remember shoes off bat, but it caps stats, and parses competetively if not more than our best geared blms on garuda.

just off hand i can tell you felt bracers > raptorskin gloves, and veterans > scarlet sash. also PIE is a stat, PTY isnt.

If you know what they meant then why does it matter, also if you have enough ACC and str but need more piety, veterans DOES NOT > scarlet. Also I agree with the felt bracers BUT depending on how you reach your goal the atk from it can > felt bracers. Please do not come in here again and try to lecture a fellow dragoon when you obviously don't know what you are saying. Especially when it sounds like you don't even play drg. Leave the trolling to general discussion please.

average joes arent going to be capping str with just basic gear, PIE is the LEAST important stat on a drg, and unless youre a gillionaire/have an amazing static, there is no way in hell OP is going to be capping acc either thus veterans is superior. so rather than attacking my character and trying to tell me im wrong, go actually try to learn the class.

That great and all, but OP was asking how to get max stats, someone gave him their set up and you tried to say "so and so is better" while also trying to lash out at them for saying something retarded about PTY and PIE to make yourself look better by correcting something that doesn't matter.

Like I said, if you are already at str cap and enough ACC, what you said would be wrong about those being best in this situation, like I also said, it depends how you get to your max stats etc.... Does no one on these forums read? Because I never said you wrong (well till essentially now). I told you to not jump in here and not use your head pretty much.

Almost exactly what I use only difference is

Felt Trousers with +17 STR
Felt Bracers with +46 STR
Cobalt Hauby +1 with +32 PIE
Flame Sergeants Sash with the +10 ACC

Puts me at 354STR/318PIE with no food. Not sure what it is with food yet if were to use Smoked Raptor

You can achieve it with mostly double-melds, if you're wise with it.
I'll only need one triple melded STR on my hands to push my STR to cap or near-cap. And Piety will hit cap as soon as I get LT helm and I don't got a single piece of Darklight.

LT helm only gives PTY if you happen to be from the Gridania company.
If you are form Limsa you Ul'dah, you need to triple meld PTY on your body.

you could argue "flame sergent sash > veterans" if you need to wear any acc gear at all, you can value a piece by its cumulative pie+str+acc as long as your below caps. The value of store TP might be even more valuable for DRG since your power surge is dirrectly related to how fast and quickly you can get through 10/20 ws's. After 20 you have maxed your drg's power surge.
