Pictomancer is insanely overtuned and needs to be fixed before savage drops.

Personally I think PIC's damage right now is fine.
It is a very burst heavy job which benefits a lot from raid buffs, I haven't looked at the high parse score party set ups but I wouldn't be suprised if it was a raid buff heavy party. PCT filler is honestly pretty weak and rigid, I have only cleared M1S rn and I have to say during prog if I didn't do my burst perfectly my damage would drop down pretty fast. I don't really think PCT needs a nerf at all, its a lot like a ranged RPR or MNK, all 3 have great utility and buffs and most of their damage comes from their burst. I think the main reason BLM is suffering is because it just isn't a very good burst job so in comparison to PCT when you see those periods of insane damage it may look overtuned. Again I think its literally just the 2 minute meta plague thats causing the balance to become scuffed, its the reason why BRD and BLM both have seemingly awful damage, they aren't burst jobs but they're being forced to be them.

I just leveled my Picto to 100..

My picto already do more damage than my BLM even I am just picking the job with no raid buffs

Numbers are too high with 1.5 cast time which is dumb idea by balance team.

Why bothering playing BLM?

job feels so punishing for 0 reward

picto broke the game already

I didn't even mention the party utility that Picto can provide..

it is just a dumb idea to release the job without testing

I think most of us agree that BLM is still in need of a lot of help and needs a buff but nerfing Picto isn't going to help BLM. Nerfing Picto will only hurt Picto bc if it gets nerfed to be below melee damage then Picto will never have a spot in a party. Picto and BLM both never will be considered for the caster spot because they don't have rez. The only spot on a team these two will have is the flex spot. A rez is the only party unititly ppl in this community care about when it comes to casters. Trust me I know because I have been asked by a lot of groups to switch to a smn(a job I hate now) just bc we needed a rez mage.

Because they enjoy BLM? Again most of us believe BLM damage needs a buff. I think BLM should be doing sam DPS but I also think Picto should be doing DPS equal to melee jobs that have the same utility. Picto should be on par with rpr/nin/drg/mnk. If you not asking for picto to be nerfed then what are you asking for? They not going to charge its casting numbers. The only thing devs will do is nerf its numbers and if they do that we be in a situation of "Why bother playing Picto when you can play SMN/Rdm. They have a lot better movement, and a rez"

Sadly nDPS doesn't matter that much in the game right now compared to rDPS/aDPS, if nDPS was as important as rDPS/aDPS then machinist would be killing it right now. Due to how burst focused the entire game is right now sadly that isn't happening.
