    Samurai's Tsubame-Gaeshi change

    Hey there,

    I hadn't read the patch notes before beginning to play the expansion, so I was wondering if I was going crazy when I wasn't able to use tsubame-gaeshi a lot in casual fighting situations. I had to double-check with a friend that I was not in fact going crazy and that this was a change.

    I can't imagine however that I am the only one who has felt this sense of "wrongness" from this change. As far as I understand it, after reading what had been explained, this was a change to "simplify recast management" around a new long cooldown skill which admittedly I haven't unlocked yet.

    So while I am not a raider or someone playing at the cutting edge of content where presumably this is a needed change, I figured I would just voice my disappointment with it.

    It feels weird.

    The purpose was to keep tsubame gaeshi synced to your 55s cooldown Meikyo Shisui.

    I am indifferent towards this change because it really doesn't matter in practice as you mostly used Meikyo Shisui with Tsubame-Gaeshi, but they had the perfect opportunity for button consolidation and, simply, chose not to, which is the real head scratcher for me.

    Even raiders think this is an awful change because it removes flexibility, so you are not alone in feeling this is a weird change. It seems to have been made because of the level 100 capstone skill, which is an upgrade to Midare provided by Meikyo Shisui, but it feels weird nonetheless.

    Personally I like it, it’s a lot smoother to line up Shoha with Tsubame now, but if they were gonna do this why not let us use the action merge on it? Though I can also understand why some are upset at losing flexibility
