    DLSS Implementation

Hi, good morning. I don't know if this is the right place to give feedback based on technical performance but after trying DLSS 3.5 implementation I have to say I'm kinda disappointed. No quality levels, no DLAA and when we enable it, it makes the game to look too blurry. Edit: It also disables during cutscenes producing visual artifacts in textures and breaking Depth of Field

I wonder if it'd be possible to improve this aspect by:
    - Adding quality selectors: Quality, Balanced, Performance, Ultra Performance
    - Add DLAA as an option
    - Not mandatory but a configurable resolution rate would be great (see Cyberpunk 2077 dynamic implementation)
    - Also it'd be great having AMD CAS filter that's used for FSR when setting it at 99. So players can configure this at their own liking.

    Thank you for reading!

The blur is also there with forced DLAA. I did it with DLSSTweaks. I also tried all presets, but with the same result. All presets are very blurry, but preset F does produce the best results IMHO. I also noticed, that there is some ghosting. I guess, that the content or the engine does not go very well with TAA-based antialiasing methods.

    Cheers

Agree with that, its sad we have no quality levels and the settings are confused (only working when 60/30fps = off?)

It would be good to get some clarity on what settings they're using. I think by default it's on Balanced. The 60/30 fps thing is for dynamic scaling, so if your framerate drops below those numbers it cuts the internal resolution further to bring the FPS back up. The "always on" setting I assume is just always aiming to keep your framerate at your ingame cap. Whatever the case this should be made clear in the options menu.

I agree with OP that we should have more configuation options. I also can't see a reason not to have an option to disable DLSS and AMD FSR entirely; I can run the game just fine at FSR 100% and I'd rather disable the AI filtering entirely. A good implementation of DLSS at Quality setting would be ideal for me, though. Preferrably switched on in cutscenes as well.

Edit: As well as cutscenes, it seems to be disabled in /gpose.

I agree. I will pretty much always enable DLSS, but it seems to cause strange behavior in my game, especially if I alt tab.

A more robust implementation and better in game explanation of what settings exactly are available would be greatly appreciated.

    Additional DLSS Feedback

My monitor is currently overkill compared to the GPU I have.
    Monitor: 2560 x 1440, 360 Hz monitor
    GPU: RTX 3060

I appreciate that the game tries to lower the render resolution to hit the ideal target of 360 fps. But it lowers it all the way to 1280x720, and at that point the game looks *horrible*!

Debug info made visible by creating the following registry key
    Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NGXCore\
    ShowDlssIndicator=0x400 (1024)

Rather than running at 110 fps with a 1280x720 -> 2560x1440 upscale, I would much rather sacrifice whatever fps I need to have an upscale that starts at something like 1920x1080. That would probably make me end up at something like 90 fps and I'd be fine with that.

Would it be possible to either add some configuration to achieve this, or maybe raise the minimum render resolution when the fps is above 60? Thanks!

Don't have any problems Alt+Tab with DLSS, what issue do you noticed?
