Switching from Sheild/Pure to Hard/Soft casters

Shield / pure healer idea isn't working.. scholar get better for having both and white mage got bad having 1.

I have been thinking of have 2 type of healer which they are all healing and shielding,
But one with soft cast 1.5 second and other is 3.0 second and can weave ogcd for casting a skill.
Which I suggest:
Hard: White mage(dps healer), Astro(support healer)
Soft: Sage(dps healer), Scholar(support healer)


I am a black mage enjoyer so I like hard casting my self

Surely it'd make more sense for WHM and SGE to be the 'hard casters', with a 2.5s cast time (else Swiftcast becomes a dps gain), and SCH/AST being the 'soft casters' with 1.5s cast times. I cannot imagine playing AST, and trying to play cards, with a 2.5s cast time. It's always been 1.5s on AST
