A small [nice thing] that could have potentially existed for even a single healer has been killed in its infancy: this being sage's potential second DoT to maintain and fill downtime a bit better.

It would have been the only healer allowed some semblance of downtime activity in the last FOUR YEARS.

But hey! At least this dumbed-down-for-people-who-dont-want-to-play-healer version still hides a small kernel of QoL that has *also* been begged for for the last four years, in the repackaging and return of a more or less spreadable DoT option for dungeon pulls!
This one comes pre-spread, and wastes any possibility for something interesting to have taken its place.

And people wonder why im so bitter when healers or the monkeys paw of blu are brought up--whether its purposeful malicious design, or complete apathy to a mandatory 1/4th of the playerbase, the result is the same.

All boredom, no fun. From level 1-90. To ask for more is to be ridiculed or dismissed.

Im not even worrying about the strike anymore, I'm just not playing healer again. Theres nothing there for me, and the devs have made it very clear that i am unwanted anyway.

I'll just be playing WAR and handling combat healing myself.

Yeah it sucks that they made that change to Eukrasian Dyskrasia. I was hoping to see Miasma II return to Scholar, not this go away. Very sad.

I'm still wondering why they gave Scholar an AoE Dot tied to a single target debuff. I can wait to see how the Balance decides the best use is cause that's wonky as hell

I've been posting on the jp forums since only those are read, to complain about this last minute garb change specifically.

But the worst of it all ? You won't even use this new dot as it is right now. Because as it stands, the radius of this dot is so small that you probably won't even hit most mobs in the one niche scenario it's supposed to fill : wall to wall pulls. Pathetic.
