Dawntrail and Dualsense sensitivity

The controller has lost sensitivity (DualSense), please fix it.

Immediately upon login in after Dawntrail's update I noticed my characters moved sloppier than before.

My usual "Stick sensitivity" setting of 8 doesn't work the same as it did before Dawntrail, even lowering it to 0 doesn't yield good results.

I used to be able to slightly move the sticks and my characters would move gracefully, now I have to push the stick harder and they barely move in the desired direction. I doubt it could be a DualSense issue since I have several and all of them became sloppy in Dawntrail.

I tested it on 2 dualsenses on 2 separate pcs. Xbox joypad works fine, only dualsense got their sensitivity bugged.

I would like the Dev Team to fix this issue by giving us the previous stick sensitivity or at least giving us an option to choose between old and new movement type.

I have exactly the same Issue as OP. Can it please be looked into? It's so awkward to have the sensitivity not work as it used to. Much appreciated!

I'm having the exact same issue too. It went from smooth pre-Dawntrail to feeling very stiff and awkward to use.

I've tested the game with a DualShock 4 and it worked fine and my DualSense works fine in other games so it's definitely an issue with the game.

I dont have a dual sense but a dual shock 4. Pre DT my controller worked fine but post DT when I press the L2 button the camera pans upward.

To add more to the topic, I realized that my rumble also doesn't work. I was using it for fishing and now that i started leveling it it did occur to me that is also broken

I typically use a DualShock 4, so I can't say for sure that it's changed with Dawntrail, but I'm using a DualSense tonight on PC and the sensitivity is definitely worse than the DualShock 4.

With sensitivity set to 0, I have to tilt my analog stick to about -0.3 as tested here in order for it to register in-game, whereas with the DualShock 4, 0 actually has 0 dead zone.
