Shoutout to Dynamis

You all had no say in hosting so many travelers and I'm totally making a blanket statement, but thank you all for being such great hosts!

Everyone I've met has been very polite and kind. I've gotten kind whispers regarding chocobo bardings and it's been fun exchanging experiences through shout chat. It's definitely made my experience with the expansion memorable so far. I've honestly felt like my character, sort of out of place, but meeting very kind faces so far. This has also been the best experience I've had with ques for an expansion. On my home server the que is well over 1k, but here it's not been over 50. Still, there are tons of people and everyone is very active. I think that deserves a shout out!

If I didn't have a house already I would actually consider transferring.

I have had characters on Dynamis since the first set of servers opened. It has always been a warm and welcoming place. I love it here.

Alot of my FC members from Gilgamesh came over to Rafflesia as it's really the only way to play at this point; Gilgamesh and probably all of Aether is full.

Yeah, Dynamis DC has singlehandedly carried the majority of my time in the expansion. That DC def deserves some love if it truly is so empty. Hopefully this will bring in more players to their servers.

3,755 que on my server atm. Switched to a server on Dynamis and once again they come in to carry the expansion at a que of 63. I can't say it enough, this DC totally deserves so much love.

If you're having issues logging in with the NA datacenters, switch to a world on Dynamis. If your schedule allows it, you can always go back at night after peak hours and take care of retainers / items. I've been switching to Dynamis DC during the day then at around 10pm PDT I go back to my congested world without any issue.

I'm sorry to hear that. Coming from one of the more populated servers I can tell you, the grass will always be greener. I know it's a very popular idea to always go on the highest populated server for better mb prices / raiding, but small pop servers have great positives too like a more tight knit community, less lag, and an overall more chill vibe overall.

However, if you're truly unhappy, I'd suggest to transfer or even just play on different data centers.

At the moment data center travel off of Dynamis isn't allowed, and by extension, it doesn't seem like one can pay to transfer off either due to the current lockdown. Once its lifted though, there would be little reason to transfer off because I can just DC travel again. After a year and a half of being forced to do that in order to get any group content done, I just don't have any real sense of attachment or community with this data center (or even my world) despite being here for so long. It's like... "where were all these people back then?" and being forced to play with them *now* just feels... frustrating somehow. If your experience has been better, that's fine of course, and I fully acknowledge my hangup is a personal one that shouldn't affect anyone else.

Anyway, there's a system in place for anyone transferring *to* Dynamis where it's not only free, but I think they have something in place for anyone coming from a congested world who already owns a house. Some kind of voucher that makes it easier to buy a new one on a new server I think? Of which, aside from the large amount of vacant lots on the 4 new servers, they recently opened the last few wards in the original 4, so if your current house was making you (or anyone else you know) hesitant from transferring, look into everything they have to offer for those coming from a congested world, and if there *is* something that helps with housing once you make the move, go scope out what plots Dynamis has to offer, might get lucky and get the exact same you're giving up, or maybe even get one that's bigger or in a more idealized "dream" spot for you and yours.
