Steps:
1. Place gear Ruthenium Sabotons of Maiming into Glamour Slot in front of Glamour Dresser
2. Dye items (I picked Metallic Blue and Metallic Purple)
3. Save Gear set
4. Try hitting apply. It does not recognize Reaper Hrothgal as an appropriate race, even though the gear applies in the preview and has no restrictions. Race/Gender/Job is as follows: Hrothgar/Female/Reaper

It doesn't say it's failing because you're a Hrothgar.

I'd bet a fair amount of gil that you're trying to apply it to your level 90 Credendum gear, which is not going to accept a level 92 item as glamour regardless of actual gear strength.

If you want to wear it, you're going to have to actually wear it until you get some level 93+ shoes to glamour it to.
