The specific Lore of FF14 Conjurer and White Mages do connect it strongly with Nature and Elementals.
So i understand the desire to reclaim that.

Once upon a time the white mage felt it was the strongest offensive healer in the game. I would like white mage to have the most raw damage and heal potency but the least utility and mobile minus quick heals..

I have often thought about how WHM can return to its Conjuring roots without giving up the progress it’s made into light-elemental spells.

I think a solution might be to take a page out of the Pictomancy book and create a spell combo. Maybe Quake -> Aquara -> Glare III, and the DoT can return to Aero - maybe call it “Aeroga” to differentiate it from the “Aero” of earlier levels.

This method would reintroduce the elemental magic without casting aside the more “holy” magic. Just a thought!

    Not correctly.
The white mage mostly used earth and Wind aether, while Black mages used fire, thunder and ice aether from the surrounding. There numbers and the high uses of that aether typs created a inbalance, where to much water aether was left on the planet/continent. What created in the end the big flood.

Its true, that white mage could maybe using more Wind and earth spells. But, the light aspects fits the theme to. And reduce the use of the other element aether.
