Where is the rush in for Astro?

I'm not trying to be rude I play each healer role and love and played astro since heavensward when it use to be sect healer but the no gap closer while white mage gets one. sage has one and scholar has the speed ability... I kept dying in a dungeon because of a mechanic that went off to fast for me to sprint that would have helped if I could leap ahead a few yalms or teleport to a teammate.

Comparing white mage to astro feeeels like an infected wound I would not try to assert into this kind of argument. Astro has so much over white mages right now its not funny. I feel bad for people who want to white mage but find its only the most played healer because the count is taking in solo people who enjoy the aesthetics. In actual duties and dungeons white mage is the least I actually see.

You can't use this as a counter arguement when it's this saturated. When 75% of the jobs have something and you don't, it's just stupid, this is why you don't let the arms race happen and this is why you don't literally do **nothing** with healer game design for 5 years.

Coming in like "TEEHEE! LOOK YOU WANT THE HOMOGENIZATION" is really silly in this instance. Again, reminder that the dev team talked about a healer rework that never happened then proceeded to not even look at the role for half a decade, even when designing a "wow! new healer" after not having one since HW, they just put LEDs on Scholar and took its bug away

Only SCH/AST/MCH don't have one. Pretty soon they will too at this rate.

For everyone not just ast to get one Even if it's a zero damage gap closer also I love how a lot of people have complained about in game but forbid someone post it here lol

I actually never noticed that AST could use one. I've been playing fine without it, but now that I've seen some people bring it up, it would be fun to have. Not necessary for me personally, but I can see why some people would want it.

I mean don't worry, at some point you'll have one on the job anyway. The first and only tank that had one in HW was DRK with plunge, then they added one to WAR in SB, and one for PLD in ShB, because people pointed fingers at DRK and said "It has one, why can't I have one too??? My job is unplayable!"

And for tanks they at least had the excuse that they're melee...

Well damn, I should start preparing for BRD and MCH to get theirs too I guess.

To apply the fantasy of astro as a time mage add a move speed buff like scholar
