How do I access the 1 button combos?

It's the pvp combo system but the live litter said they gave us the option to do it in PVE now.

I looked in actions & traits, system configuration& character configuration, plus looked all over YouTube and no one is making any vids on it.

I can't figure how to find or put the 1 button combos on my hotbar, plus I'm playing on console so I hope it's not a PC only thing.

They dont apply to core rotations, only additional skills.

Unfortunately it seems that feature was put on hold or we had a misunderstanding / were misled on how much that system would allow us to customize. A ffxiv YouTuber and streamer also noted it as a missing feature at launch.

It was a misinterpretation of what was said.

There are actions that transform into a contextual followup button, this feature separates those skills, but it does not condense chain/combo actions.

I guess that explains a lot. I have been searching trying to find out how to activate it, and just thought I was blind. Was hoping to combine the new follow up to standard step on dancer to the same button. Guess that's not going to happen

It's not intended to collapse everything into a 1 button combo. It's mostly for abilities that change into another ability. You can choose to have them as 1 button or separate buttons. You can see a little icon under the ability in the Actions window indicating that you can do this.

This. People misunderstood on day 1 and they are still spreading misinformation, lol. Kinda funny.

Yeah, it was the opposite of what we wanted. And only for a handful of cd skills.

Feels very incomplete.

They have Paladin's Fight or Flight changing into Goring Blade, but Requiescat doesn't change into Confiteor. The latter making more sense than the former.

Unless I'm missing an option to allow me to, but I don't see one.

It should be. Why? Because several classes have vacuous 123 combos that don't branch orr do anything interactive whatsoever, and simply do not deserve to take up 3 buttons of hotbar space. Also, every melee has this for AoE buttons.

My hotbars are irreconciliable with Reaper and Dark Knight without paging, and they both have pointless 123 combos. Then I look at Viper and all their combos page. They have massive cognitive dissonance on this topic.
