In patch 7.05 Tsubame now happens after every Iaijitsu. It probably makes the job easier but I at least like that it's no longer tied to Meikyo. We'll have to see for ourselves.

That 30s duration makes me think that we'll be able to "hold" a Tsubame and use it later instead of being forced to repeat it in the next GCD. Otherwise what's the point of the 30s duration? I can't think of a single disconnect longer than maybe 10s that doesn't force the boss to become untargetable or else lasts longer than 30s. If we can actually pocket a Tsubame going into burst phase then that will add some nice spice to things every two minutes.

It seems we can pocket a Tsubame even after doing other GCDs which I like. That means we can take advantage of Kaeshi: Midare's 6 yalm range if the boss forces you out for that much range. Can just hold a Tsubame for that moment. That 30s duration makes me think that we'll be able to "hold" a Tsubame and use it later instead of being forced to repeat it in the next GCD. so , sam got all potencies reduced but added the 30s buff for Tsubame-gaeshi Ready.....idk if i like this trade
why is WoW living rent free inside your heads?

I love the trade tbh. It feels like it'll be more potency overall during the rotation and it removes a failstate that didn't exist before DT. This just might be enough to make it my go-to melee again.

Does this mean slow samurai is dead?
it just me or does this just say the same thing twice?
