    This change was really misguided. I wonder if it's the last change they did and assumed it would work? If they are willing to remove kaiten mid expansion then I would hope they are willing to simply revert this change in a later patch like 7.1. This is not something that I think can be fixed. If their issue was that noob samurais would drift their tsubame, then why not make the cooldown 55 seconds instead?

    It feels horrible in any content that is not single boss training dummy. And it seems their intentions this expansion is to release less content that fits that mold, so what gives?

    Agreed, it's a pretty bad change and just makes things feel clunky. Think it's increasingly clear that whatever dev(s) keeps pushing changes on this job doesn't even play it.

    The point of the change is to constrain rotations to a rigid script that should deviate even less from their burst alignment meta and doesn't tolerate any "freestyling" to make sure players play it "correctly". With that in mind every raid burst relevant button should be tied to the rest and lock every big attack behind.

    This change feels so awful for open world usage. I just don't understand why they would make it. I just started leveling and it feels absolutely atrocious for literally zero gain, like I'd understand if you used Meikyo and then it turned into Tsubame, but it literally just limits our usage of the ability with no reduction of buttons to press..

    It sucks they are restricting flexibility to playing SAM as well and not just BLM and I don't even play SAM. I don't understand why SE wants to make gameplay boring and no room for fun and enjoyment. This is a disappointing Expansion already.

    It's cus the job design team has screwed themselves with oversimplification. It's just a plague that's been over the game since SHB and arguably parts of SB. Really the fact every job is now a burst job has kinda ruined all of them, like with Paladin and Gunbreaker those 60CD attacks being attached to the buffs makes sense for burst meta of raids but in DDs for example you might not use them under buffs.
    The burst meta has made everything outside of boss fights feel horrible to play. It's like they just want people to raid which is ironic considering all the non-raider content advertised in DT.

    Reducing the GCD of Tendo is nice(though obviously the slow GCD shouldn't have even been a thing in the first place). Linking Tsubame to Meikyo still feels restricting so please revert this change.

    Decided to take a crack at SAM again while taking a break from MSQ and I gotta say this change has actually made the job more punishing if you make even the smallest mistake. If their goal was to make the job more approachable they sure failed at that.

    I was optimistic about the change at first, on the surface it seemed like a good idea but as I've played more I've come to dislike it more and more.
    Perhaps its just the Tendo recast changing our rotation leading up to the 1 and 2 minutes windows?
    In either case, if they're really committed to this course could they at least include an action change option for tsubame? Now that it doesn't have its own cooldown it can safely be tucked away behind Iaijutsu or Meikyo without losing any information on the hotbar
