Unable to do version check [30410][30607][20457][404]

Hey, Anybody else getting this error when trying to log in ? Any clues how to resolve?

I used the method to set in Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn\ the FFXIV_BOOT.cfg line BootVersionCheckMode to 1 instead of 0. BUt it didnt help.

The game, and much of the underlying infrastructure, including access to some web sites, is still offline. Check again after 3 am PDT.

I tried with a different device and I could log in and can see the greyed out play button, which is what should be the case after patching. The issue here is not that its downtime, but that it has an error to run launcher properly... I dont know whats gotten into my account, it was working yesterday and today this error comes up. Anyhow, i am lucky i got another device. And I will check back later on the original one with the problem. Dont want to waste time on it now.

I checked back on my original device, the issue still presist, i can log in without problem in another device... not sure what is causing the issue. I will reinstall the game.

Also having this error on my main computer. Version check on my main PC and DirectX error on my crappy laptop. Completely unable to play.

I was able to resolve my Version check issue by verifying integrity files through the launcher settings (native launcher not steam)

I personally did a reinstall and it worked after. It took a while but nothing else worked cause integrity check was greyed out in steam saying "it is operated by another application"
