Game worked fine in Endwalker and yes have a Nvidia 4090

Not matter how I change the settings the game client just keeps crashing over and over. It is totally unplayable. Any suggestions please

Same thing is happening to me. I have a 4090, 32 GB RAM, i9 Processor. I have checked all my drivers and uninstalled and reinstalled the game. But I am getting the same error and the game just closes. No lagging, hitching, or skips the game just closes and gives the nvgpucomp64.dll+E10FF4 error

Yep 100% the same, looks the same issue.... I wasnt sure how to embed my error message in this, it is quite irritating.

I am having the same issue, and from what I heard its FF14 itself. That this patch messed up a lot of people. I have an RTX 3080, and I had no issues with EW.

I am having the same problem as well. Running a 13900k with a 4080. Crashing during many cutscenes and only a few times in the overworld. Tried with max settings with DLSS on and tried without. Had no problems until Dawntrail. Hopefully a fix will come out soon because it is definitely demotivating trying to do MSQ knowing at any point it could crash and would have to start the quest cutscenes over again. The only things I have done so far is updated GPU drivers and verified my FFXIV files. I have heard many things about our specific intel CPUs doing wacky things with voltages and overclocking and that changing your settings in BIOS or using an intel utility to change clock speeds could fix it but I have not gone that far into doing those things since I have only had these problems since DT release and have come to the conclusion that the game itself is the culprit.

The only thing I managed to do was as soon as the errors pop up, move it off screen. I have dual monitors so I put the errors on the bottom of my other monitor. Be warned if you exit the game normally, it BSOD'd me, so its best to just open one of the errors and hit Ok. I seen people saying they had 5 errors and played an entire day. I played from noon to 5pm with 2 errors. We aren't the only ones with issues, there are others out there. On top of seeing dx11 crashes and ff14 error crashes. I am hoping when they open up on the 2nd that they patch and hopes it fixes.

Same issues, 4090, everything is up to date. I've also found if I click back into the game and leave the error alone I can continue playing. However after a couple of those it can throw a DirectX version of the error and that kills the game. No issues before DT.

May have fixed it. So I was streaming lastnight and Cutscenes in DT were crashing me or I was getting 4-5 windows that all said nvgpucomp.dll crash, I had to restart FF14 like 4 times due to it just crashing. Researched today and found someone had said its NOT THE GPU but instead its your CPU's voltage and a problem with Intel i9 13th and 14th gen. That its pushing more than the limits of the cpu...

essentially I went in to my BIOS and I turned (for me) Asus MultiCore Enhancement to Disabled - Enforce All Limits, and I disabled Intel Adaptive Boost Technology. I got on my Alt character which is DT ready and I managed to get through all cutscenes, and I have yet to have an nvgpu popup. I'll keep you posted.

Edit 1: So far I got 1 pop-up. So I guess it didn't work... but this might help others.

I have paid for Pre-release for DT and still unable to play, the support seems to be clueless to fix anything related to this error, same way tried the video from above and attempted the reddit's suggestion, still no luck.
