Thread: [7.0] Most updated ear textures missing on Viera (f and m)

Hi,

to be clear this is not a Benchmark thing, it's a bug in the actual game.

Date & Time: 28.06.2024, observed around 22:00 ST
Frequency: permanent

Character name: Onion-cutting Ninja, Carolita Accipiter
Retainer name: -
NPC name: -
Monster name: -
Class/Level: independent of class or level
Party or solo: solo
In-game time: I don't know, I was in the Fantasia menu, so technically not in game
Area and coordinates: Character Editor (Fantasia)
Housing: -

Steps:
1. Open the character creator with a new character or an existing one with fantasia
2. Choose Viera (f) and compare the old low definition ear models with the detailed hair texture
3. Choose Viera (m) and do the same with ear shape 4. (The others for the male model are reworked ones.)

From what I could see it doesn't matter what clan the Viera is from.

At first I thought the upgrade of the ears was tabled for later when I saw my female Viera in game, but after using a Fantasia and checking out the male ones I noticed how beautiful and better most of their ear shapes are now. Especially the droopy ears with the curly fur are gorgeous! Considering the ear shapes from m and f are exactly the same I suppose there was an oversight in uploading the new textures for everyone.







For comparison here the type 2 ears from a male Viera that are clearly an upgrade.
