I love that new feature, but I agree an option is welcomed for everyone
The tilt seemed fine to me while flying, but on the ground it was a bit much.
I'd also appreciate a toggle, especially if it can be separate for ground vs. flying.
Support for a toggle, whether it's on/off or high/low/none as have both been suggested here. If a newly implemented 'feature' is making players sick, it should not be mandatory.
Just wanted to hop in rq without reading the thread, sorry if it was mentioned already, but the Miw Miisv mount and the Level Checker mount both don't drift. I know not exactly the perfect solution but maybe at least a temporary workaround for those affected.
I don't understand the claims that motion sickness is being caused by the mount leaning on turns. It's just an object on your screen that is tilting, one of many objects on your screen that are constantly animating at any given moment - other players, minions, objects in the environment, etc. It's not as if your entire screen or your perspective is tilting - an object on the screen is. You are simply moving forward and backward through the environment, the same as always, regardless of how the mount is animating during that process. It could be leaning, moonwalking, doing backflips.. it shouldn't matter.
Here's a video someone posted showing mounts not leaning versus leaning. Aside from the users camerawork, I don't see any reason why the mount's tilt in one would cause different reactions.

I'm not saying I'm not sympathetic, I'm just wondering if you're sure it isn't something else causing your motion sickness. I know people have been reporting nausea issues with some of the new graphic options (Dlsss) that were introduced, for example.

I'm positive that the new mount animations are the culprit for the motion sickness I'm experiencing, at least. I've experimented with different graphical settings available to me, and the only time I'm getting nausea and headaches are when riding/flying on any other mount than the Miw Miisv (which doesn't tilt). Otherwise I'm completely fine when watching the story scenes, exploring the areas on foot, doing roulettes etc.
Bump. This game needs attention in regards to accessibility needs.
its very distracting to me, and it looks funny with certain mounts
im in support of the high/low/off toggle suggestion![]()
I doubt a toggle would be necessary if they just like...did a good job in the first place. The effect should be way subtler than it is. Also it doesn't make sense on like half of the mounts it's applied to.
