I desperately want a toggle. The feature is implemented on certain mounts such that moving just a little bit sends my character back and forth way too much. It's nauseating and is a poor effect.

Also adding in that the mount tilt makes me really motion sick and I would like to toggle it off. I sometimes have problems with hand/thumb jitteriness and with this tilt feature, it makes me like a weeble wobble toy. which is even worse for my motion sickness ):

Yes, I'm completely on board with a toggle. I'm highly susceptible to motion sickness — it's one of the reasons why I don't play many video games, actually. I got it from FFXIV when I first started playing too, but I love FF games and powered through anyway. It took me around three or four weeks to become accustomed to FFXIV, but even now, I have to get used to the game again if I take a break. All of this is just to say that this mount tilting aggravates this issue to an even higher degree for me. I don't believe that I'm just needlessly "complaining" either (much as the rest of you aren't). If that was true, I would've written something about this during any of my previous bouts of game-induced motion sickness. The tilting is a clear trigger for motion sickness and could be easily fixed with a toggle. We don't want to eliminate it, we just want the ability to turn it off for ourselves so that our motion sickness isn't triggered. Everybody wins.

With all the front page apologies and known issues that Square Enix rolled out last week, I would have hoped at least acknowledging that some of the visual updates and animations were making some customers ill or uncomfortable would be at the top of their priorities, even if they don't have an immediate fix ready. I'm rather disappointed that the health and safety of their players doesn't rank higher than lighting in housing.

+1 for this
I've mostly gotten used to it now but it definitely gave me a few moments of vertigo at first

Same, I want to toggle off the new mount effect... it was unnecesary

I'm glad, that I'm not the only person with this problems. All my friends have no problems and no one believed my at the first time. But it gets more and more worse. Its only possible to use a few mounts on the ground without getting hard Motion Sickness. This is very annoying, many People spent a lot of time in collecting of mounts or spend money for shop mounts and now everything is useless. Please give us the opportunity to choose if we want the tilt or not.
More options is always better. +1 to this.

I also want to be able to toggle it off because it triggers my motion sickness. I'm so lost with all the questionable things they keep adding without any ability to turn them off if they cause us physical discomfort or even pain.

I just went out and got on the Regalia mount to take my friend and do post EW quests together. The mount tilt is horrible on it and it made me get off of it asap, I don't want to fly and I haven't yet tried which mounts they added this quirky thing too but they ruined the Regalia for me. Give me the option to turn it off please....I feel sick whenever I look at it.
What's this expansion? Eyestrain and now motion sickness. As if I needed another reason to hate this expansion
Ruined character, ruined favorite areas, ruined house lighting, eyestrain even in old content, mount tilt that's not optional, no ability to turn of glare, blurry graphics, shadows are even worse now.
But I guess the grass and the water look nice...????
