Mount tilt feature: motion sickness and a plea for an on/off toggle

Oh the carbuncle mount tilt isn't as bad as like the sdf fenrir. I think I'll sacrifice my extra mount speed for less freaking out from thinking there's an issue with my controller. I still wouldn't mind it be a toggle though.

It does give me mild motion sickness as well.

Some mounts are way worse about it, like the chocobo ones (company, ceremony, etc) so I've been using the shadow wolf, since it's barely noticeable at all for me.

Oh geez! My Chocobo is drunk! It's not even flying yet it still tilts on the ground like something awful! Please please disable this for the ground at least! It's terrible and I'm going to get motion sickness!

Yeah, I'm getting pretty motion sick on certain mounts. Thankfully, some are better than others (Demi-Ozma's got almost no roll), but it's still a bummer.

Getting motion sickness from the new mount tilt animations. Would it be possible to add an on/off toggle for these mount tilt animations, please?

I'm finding that the way the tilt is handled is the problem. If every mount was a motor cycle, then this would make sense, but why is the car when it flies tilting? It's basically a hover car and it already turns like a tank (eg it turns from the center instead of from the front wheels) Making it tilt was unnecessary unless it already could fly like a jet, which it isn't.

But all the land animal mounts shouldn't even be able to fly in the first place, why are they tilting like they are running on a race track.

Honestly, just give players the option to make them tilt on land, sea or air. Or make it a per mount feature cause the bird mounts definitely ALREADY cause motion sickness.

I'm also getting motion sick from mount tilt. Some aren't too bad, but it sucks that I can't use some of my favorite mounts because of it.

Glad to know I'm not the only one. Why did they had to f*** this up in the first place. There was nothing wrong with it...like so many other things that got ruined with this...erm..."upgrade".

Jesus lord how does a mild tilt make anyone motion sick… it looks way better then just randomly snapping a direction… Jesus Christ I think the devs need a toggle just to deter everyone from the forums because they are damned if they do or don’t at this point.. this isn’t even feedback as it really makes no sense… I’m genuinely baffled by how one can get motion sick from a partial tilt and if you say it’s because you’re rapidly changing direction then… don’t XD

So you're dismissing someone's actual physical response to the game, just because you don't respond the same? Damn. I can't even imagine not being able to empathize to that degree.

For the record, the Demi-Ozma mount does not seem to use any tilting.. but the spinny shapes maybe don't help still.

I found the Starlight Reindeer was pretty subtle on the tilt and I didn't super hate it. Maybe some of the ARR Extreme horses wouldn't be so bad as well.
